Evan Fisher is the founder and managing partner at Portal Ventures, a crypto investment firm focused on accelerating the protocol economy through business fundamentals. Prior to founding Portal, Fisher was an investor at Insight Partners backing businesses globally from Series A to pre-IPO across software, FinTech and internet. Fisher started his career at Goldman Sachs and brings traditional finance frameworks to crypto.
Trevor Neff
Trevor Neff joined Sound Ventures in January 2021 as a Principal & Investor. He was most recently a VP at Bessemer where he worked under partner Brian Feinstein and led deals in Shopmonkey, Beyond Pricing, Restaurant365, and Mambu. Trevor served on the Board of Directors for Restaurant365 and Beyond Pricing. Prior to Bessemer, Trevor spent two years at Spectrum Equity, a multi-billion growth equity firm based in San Francisco. Trevor has spent most of his time on enterprise software, vertical software, and financial technology. Trevor continues to invest behind various roadmaps, including a verticalized fintech thesis – that vertical software companies can now embed financial services like payments, bill pay, payroll, and insurance into their product stack offering a one-stop shop for vertical end markets.
