By combining interdisciplinary learning, industry collaboration, and entrepreneurial experimentation, CSI cultivates a continuous pipeline of builders and a dynamic ecosystem for digital innovation.

Registration is open for Construct I/O 2026

Construct I/O, on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026 brings together researchers, students and industry ranging from early stage founders to experts at Anthropic, Databricks, Superhuman, Apple and more. It’s a high-energy day of discussion, new connections and an interactive build session that will leave you inspired and ready to apply new skills immediately. Registration is free for Ohio State students, faculty and staff, and $40 general admission.

Where Ohio State Talent Meets Real World Innovation

The Center for Software Innovation Part-Time Co-op Program connects Ohio State students with startups and innovation-driven companies working on real product, engineering, and go-to-market challenges.

Through paid, part-time roles during the academic semester, students contribute to meaningful projects while gaining hands-on experience alongside founders, engineers, and operators, and companies gain access to motivated talent ready to support real work.

The new 8-story, 103,000-square-foot building will give the Center for Software Innovation a dedicated home and be a space for startups emerging from BuildX, a university initiative designed to help student founders move through every stage of the startup process, and other ventures across central Ohio and the state. The tower will offer flexible co-working space, dedicated offices and opportunities to connect with other technology companies.
