Chloe Johnston

Chloe is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in partnerships, business development, and sales across various industries, including tech, media and sports marketing. Recently, she was the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Root Inc (NASDAQ: ROOT), where she spearheaded the Embedded Insurance initiative. This involved leading a cross-functional team to integrate Root’s cutting-edge technology into partner environments, driving differentiated distribution and strategic growth. Before her tenure at Root, Chloe served as a senior leader of The Atlantic’s advertising organization, overseeing a national sales team responsible identifying, negotiating, closing and growing external marketing relationships, including high-profile clients such as Google, AT&T, HBO, Porsche, Cleveland Clinic and more.

Chloe has a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science from The Ohio State University.
